Job Details
The Application Engineer configures, customizes, and supports IWMS solutions for customers. This role involves technical development, data work, integrations, and issue resolution throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and deploy IWMS applications.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Implement authentication settings and module configurations.
- Develop application customizations using JavaScript and XML.
- Support integrations using REST or SOAP APIs and SQL queries.
- Perform data manipulation and migrations.
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve defects.
- Investigate and resolve technical support requests.
- Recommend system enhancements.
- Build or modify system reports using SQL, XML, or JavaScript.
- Assist customers in creating dashboards and KPIs.
- Maintain data integrity.
- Contribute to user guides and internal knowledgebase.
- Provide training sessions.
- Participate in project planning and code reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in a technical application engineering or software support role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server, JavaScript, Java, and XML.
- Experience performing data migration or ETL tasks.
- Familiarity with REST or SOAP APIs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Archibus or a comparable IWMS platform.
- Understanding of workplace, facilities, or real-estate management processes.
- Experience with SaaS application configuration and support.
