Our client is a large IT service provider for banks in Germany. They manage millions of accounts and thousands of bank workstations.
Project Opportunity: Join a project for a leading European financial services company. This is a 2nd level support role.
Team: A team of over 40 Application Support Engineers. The team is growing and is helpful and supportive.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve Application Errors: Analyze application logs to identify and solve issues, escalating to 3rd level support if needed.
- Streamline Event Management: Independently manage event processing, ensuring all incidents are tracked and resolved.
- Resolve Complex Issues: Handle escalated fault reports, restoring operations and minimizing downtime.
- Strengthen Incident Recovery: Lead support for incident management, ensuring quick recovery, documentation, and tracking.
- Implement Process Improvements: Implement and document standardized changes and emergency drills to maintain procedure consistency.
Skills Required:
- 3+ years experience in a similar support role.
- Experience with Graylog for log management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
- Understanding of IT platforms, data center operations, technical structures, and services.
- Business fluency in German (C1) and good English skills (B2).
