Job SummaryThe role provides accounting expertise for large onboarding clients focusing on private markets (private equity, venture capital, real estate, hybrid structures). It assists the head of delivery in AOS product/service development and reporting streamlining. Collaboration with clients, developers, project managers, and stakeholders is key to efficient AOS product delivery. Opportunities for operational/strategic projects with senior management exist.
Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise in technical accounting during client onboarding (requirements gathering, clarifying accounting/reporting best practices).
- Contribute to BAU reporting deliverables and efficiency projects.
- Support AOS technology activity (Tableau/Cosmos visualization tools).
- Manage accounting systems and other databases.
- Manage data and change management.
- Test new solutions and develop proof of concepts.
- Ensure operational resilience by documenting procedures and bespoke solutions.
- Identify operational improvements.
- Design client-specific checklists/workflows to mitigate risks.

Qualifications/Experience
- University degree in Accountancy/Finance/Maths
- CPA/CIMA/ACCA qualified (3+ years post-qualification experience)
- 3+ years' financial services experience (fund administration/portfolio monitoring)
- Experience delivering large-scale projects with client reporting solutions.
- Experience developing/maintaining standardized/custom reports for asset owners.
- Experience with cross-functional teams (data engineers, business analysts, product managers)
- Accounting standards knowledge
- Funds/Hedge fund industry experience
- Financial performance/trend reporting (IRRs, DPI, time-weighted returns)
- Strong Excel skills (complex data sets/calculations)
- Experience creating/updating procedures, process flows, training materials
- Computer/program skills (Microsoft Office suite, accounting systems like FIS Investran/Paxus/SAP, BI applications like PowerBI/Tableau)
