Full-Time Associate Dean - Nursing Specialty Programs

• Maintains program curriculum quality.
• Recruits, orients, develops, mentors, and evaluates faculty.
• Provides leadership for program improvement.
• Collaborates with departments to ensure outcome consistency.
• Participates in committee service and program assessment.
• Develops a community of care among faculty and students.
• Ensures program compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Communicates effectively with leadership, faculty, staff, and students.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• PhD or DNP, with a Master’s in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• 3 years graduate level teaching experience.
• Distance learning/online experience preferred.
• Appropriate credentials and licensure.
• Record of intellectual and professional contributions to nursing.
• Knowledge of nursing accreditation and accountability processes.
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
• Experience leading student retention efforts.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with DNP scholarly projects and PhD dissertation committees.
• Commitment to advocating for student learning in a distance environment.
• Experience in faculty/staff development and evaluation.
• Compatibility with the mission of positive social change.
