Full-Time Associate Dean of Academic Affairs - BSN Online

Chamberlain College of Nursing is seeking an Associate Dean of Academic Affairs to provide leadership for campus level faculty.

• Participate in faculty recruitment, selection, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure learning experiences align with the BSN curriculum.
• Collaborate with national academic committees on projects.
• Create plans for student success, including retention and NCLEX pass rates.
• Evaluate course resources and assessment data.
• Support faculty with changes that address student needs.
• Serve as a faculty and staff mentor.
• Monitor faculty participation in course advisory councils.
• Collaborate on academic budget and capital requests.
• Support clinical placement of nursing students.
• Ensure regular faculty meetings for curriculum planning and evaluation.
• Assign faculty workloads.
• Support national academic team in program execution.
• Collaborate with library staff.
• Monitor student academic success data.
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
• Act as liaison between agencies and college teams.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Nursing Required; Doctorate preferred.
• 2+ years in nursing education at the Bachelor level or above.
• 2+ years Development/participation in simulation/clinical experience.
• 2+ years Previous academic leadership experience.
• Unencumbered Professional nursing licensure Required.
