Full-Time Audience Editor - Consumer & Commerce

What will the role involve?

• Analyze affiliate team content performance, review revenue-generating content and platforms.
• Create in-depth content strategy plans to boost audience engagement and revenue.
• Guide commerce publishing strategy and implement changes across multiple titles.
• Track news media sites to map strategies and identify areas for improvement.
• Write engaging audience insights with strategic suggestions.
• Balance e-commerce vs. scale model affiliate content.
• Involve occasional weekend shifts around high-volume shopping days (e.g., Black Friday, Amazon Prime).

Who are we looking for?

• Demonstrable experience in a similar news role (ideally with a journalism background), focusing on optimizing content for search, discovery, and social.
• Familiarity with affiliate industry, standard partners (e.g., Trackonomics, Skimlinks, Awin).
• Strong organizational and planning skills to manage daily/weekly/monthly publishing flow.
• Experience collaborating with editors to enhance content growth and increase revenue.
• Analyze complex issues to develop actionable insights, showing commercial acumen and understanding of metrics (CTR, CR, AOV).
• Proficient in using proprietary platform analytics (e.g., Facebook, Amplitude) and third-party sources (e.g., CrowdTangle).
• Interpret data and make insightful recommendations while planning engaging content.
