Hourly Rate Range: CAD $35.00 - $62.00

We are seeking an enthusiastic Backend Software Developer with Node.js experience to join our team.
Think Tank Training Centre is a leading artistic training center in VFX and Games. You will contribute significantly to the team.
Technical Details:
- Server-side software utilizes Fastify.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with any Node.js web framework is beneficial, while TypeScript experience is crucial.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Write efficient, well-documented code adhering to industry standards.
- Participate in design processes, providing feedback on existing and future software components.
- Engage in engineering processes (code reviews, integration, deployment) under senior developer guidance.
- Own supplementary software support projects (e.g., scripting for administrative reports).
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and independent learning skills.
- TypeScript proficiency.
- Experience with Node.js backend frameworks.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL), designing schemas, and understanding ERD documents.
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React or Vue).
- Ability to review design documentation and document technical requirements.
