We are offering an opportunity for a Permanent Bid Writer (Transport Infrastructure) to join our Work Winning team.
You’ll help secure new projects by creating clear, compelling bids and proposals, working closely with the Bid Director, Head of Proposals, Bid Manager, and Proposals Manager.
What You’ll Do:
- Produce high-quality, consistent, and persuasive bid responses.
- Draft content and edit material to ensure it is clear and concise.
- Gather information from subject experts to support quality submission questions.
- Draft responses and collect relevant supporting evidence and case studies.
- Participate in review cycles.
- Analyse client requirements to maximise scores across all responses.
- Contribute to storyboarding workshops.
- Embrace new technologies to enhance our bid writing process.
- Support bid teams by interviewing subject matter experts.
- Help develop value propositions and win themes.
- Monitor the quality of written content.
- Carry out final editing and proofreading.
- Source relevant content from the Content Library and previous bids.
- Support post-tender lessons learned processes.
What You’ll Bring:
- Degree-level English writing skills (desirable)
- Bid writing experience
- Experience in highways or rail bidding/local authority work
- Able to work under-pressure and be self-motivated
