Full-Time Biomechanical Engineer

JS Held's Accident Reconstruction practice is seeking a Biomechanical Engineer in the United States.

Ideal candidate: Strong interest in accident reconstruction, expert witness testimony experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage engineering projects and project teams.
2. Conduct field investigations and testing.
3. Investigate biomechanical and injury aspects.
4. Provide technical findings, analysis, and conclusions (written and verbal).
5. Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities.
6. Travel for client meetings, field work, marketing, and business development.
7. Maintain communication with clients and project teams.
8. Maintain technical and professional knowledge.
9. Meet or exceed performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Required: Ph.D. in Biomechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering, minimum 5 years post-academic industry experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical Engineering, ACTAR certification, testifying experience, strong written/verbal communication, experience in technical reports, experience managing teams.

Skills: Strong organizational skills, mathematically and technologically inclined, adaptable, skilled with software and technical systems, willingness to obtain additional licensure and certifications.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work remotely or travel to job sites
• Ability to travel to different regions

Compensation: $125,000 - $200,000 per year.
