JS Held's Accident Reconstruction practice is seeking a Biomechanical Engineer in the United States.
Ideal candidate: Strong interest in accident reconstruction, expert witness testimony experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage engineering projects and project teams.
- Conduct field investigations and testing.
- Investigate biomechanical and injury aspects.
- Provide technical findings, analysis, and conclusions (written and verbal).
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities.
- Travel for client meetings, field work, marketing, and business development.
- Maintain communication with clients and project teams.
- Maintain technical and professional knowledge.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Required: Ph.D. in Biomechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering, minimum 5 years post-academic industry experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical Engineering, ACTAR certification, testifying experience, strong written/verbal communication, experience in technical reports, experience managing teams.
Skills: Strong organizational skills, mathematically and technologically inclined, adaptable, skilled with software and technical systems, willingness to obtain additional licensure and certifications.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work remotely or travel to job sites
- Ability to travel to different regions
Compensation: $125,000 - $200,000 per year.
