Job Details
New England Life Care (NELC) is seeking a Business Analyst to provide input on NELC projects, extract data, and compile reports for management and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide input on NELC projects.
- Write reports for management, operations, and projects.
- Provide application support to users and resolve issues.
- Participate in evaluation and implementation of new features, modules, and systems.
- Participate in process improvements.
- Work to research and resolve tickets.
- Conduct testing, training, and implementation of software updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience as a business analyst with healthcare background preferred.
- Experience writing MSSQL queries and writing end user reports using SAP CrystalReports or equivalent.
- Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security requirements.
Additional Skills:
- Experience with report writing and research tools, including Crystal Reports, SQL Management Studio, MS Access.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology; CPT; ICD9; and HCPC coding preferred.
