Full-Time Change and Release Planner - ITSM Specialist (Hybrid)

• Under the general direction of the manager, administers and supports IT infrastructure Change, Configuration and Release (CCR) management processes.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining CCR controls, traceability, compliance and reports.
• Documents processes and procedures and provides training on IT Service Management (ITSM) policies, procedures and general processes.
• Assists in researching and resolving change related issues.
• Establishes and maintains configuration and release management records and performs periodic configuration and release audits.
• Ensures CCR requests are complete, including impact statements, deployment or implementation instructions, and comprehensive recovery plans.
• Ensures proper execution of CCR Management policies and procedures and promotes consistency of procedures and processes.
• Analyzes data, makes recommendations for improvements or enhancements to policies and procedures and prepares reports as required.
• Provides CCR Management training to all impacted staff.
• Tracks and controls CCRs for IT infrastructure and provides accurate and current status, configuration, release, and relational data to customers.
• Identifies and validates requirements for the Configuration Management database (CMDB).
• Partners with problem and incident team on change related issues and provides post-incident support.

• Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent experience in IT, MIS, or related field.
• Two (2) or more years related experience in change, configuration, and release management.
• ITIL Practice certification desired.
• Experience working with ITIL framework, systems administration, databases, Qualys or Tripwire.
• Experience with ServiceNow desired.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to use deductive reasoning and analytical thinking.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
