We are seeking a skilled Claims Representative who is proficient with computers and has experience in claims processing and customer service. The role involves extensive data entry and system work, including indexing data within systems such as Guidewire, Onbase, and MedData. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance claims, with a preference for those with workers' compensation experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and system work related to claims processing.
- Index data within systems like Guidewire, Onbase, and MedData.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal staff and external clients to gather necessary information.
- Utilize knowledge of medical and legal terminology related to claims.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
- Pay attention to detail and apply analytical skills.
- Work independently as well as within a team.
