Job Details
Shift: Mid Shift
The Claims Analyst assists the onshore claims team with claims administrative duties.
Responsibilities include:
- Static claims
- Incompletes
- Diaries
- Data Input into company systems, following Arch Re policies and procedures.
- Supporting the Arch Re Claims team
- Potential for progression to more complex support/treaty processing
- Running static claims reports and communicating with brokers for updates
- Updating/closing static claims
- Purging claims
- Diary management for the Syndicate
- Monitoring ECF Incomplete entries and improving KPIs
- Liaising with onshore team on Incomplete entries
- Inputting Additional Case Reserves into systems
- Uploading emails
- Participating in ad-hoc projects and initiatives
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with insurance/reinsurance claims.
- Ability to analyze reports, interpret reinsurance contract language, and analyze coverage.
- Strong organizational and mathematical skills.
- Multitasking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word)
- Excellent communication skills (all levels)
- Strong work ethic, initiative, and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Fluent in Excel, Word, and other business programs
- Four-year degree in a business-related field
