Part-Time Clinical Instructor - MSN NP

As a Walden Faculty Member, you'll educate Walden University students using online technology and resources.

• Grade assignments, participate in discussions, and respond to student emails.
• Use technology to enhance the learning experience.
• Maintain a respectful environment for students and the university.

Training: New faculty receive training in online teaching, electronic learning platforms, Walden policies, and research supervision.

Course Availability:

• Teach courses using Canvas.
• Engage in Discussion Boards 24/7.
• Be available in the classroom a minimum of 4 days/week.
• Respond to student questions within 48 hours.

Licensing/Certification:

• Must be appropriately credentialed and work as a FNP.
• Hold an earned degree from an accredited institution.
• Maintain licenses and certifications.
• All NP Faculty are required to obtain RN and APRN licensure in the state of Minnesota.

Education and Experience:

• Earned Doctorate.
• Record of professional scholarly contributions.
• Minimum of one year of teaching experience in higher education.
• Current clinical experience in NP practice.
• 1-2 years online teaching experience required.
• Commitment to student learning and development in a distance learning environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Board Certified FNP

Technology Requirements: Faculty need a personal computer with virus protection and Internet access.
