Cloud Engineer II
As a Cloud Engineer II, you're an experienced systems administrator, eager to expand your technology skills globally. You'll safeguard critical information, systems, and assets; build solutions; implement new software/hardware; provide training; and contribute to the overall IT strategy. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Designing, deploying, and managing public/private cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Monitoring and optimizing cloud performance, scalability, and cost
- Implementing and managing cloud security measures
- Building and managing deployment pipelines (CI/CD tools)
- Automating cloud operations using scripting and IaC tools
- Collaborating with development/operations teams for seamless integration
- Troubleshooting and resolving cloud issues
- Staying updated on cloud technologies/best practices
- Documenting cloud and system configurations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud engineering
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows servers
- Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Terraform)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect) desirable
