Full-Time Cloud Systems Engineer

TherapyNotes is seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail and is inquisitive, seeking to challenge the status quo.

Responsibilities

• Identify and champion opportunities to automate Infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
• Script repetitive tasks.
• Migrate legacy workloads to Kubernetes.
• Write excellent documentation.
• Support and improve the engineering platform and CI/CD pipeline.
• Discover and architect automated solutions for manual or inefficient processes.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other technology teams.
• Improve site reliability through detailed telemetry.
• Ensure all solutions adhere to security and operating policies.
• Identify opportunities for improving service delivery and documentation.
• Provide on-call coverage for IT operational support.

Requirements

• BS degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Expert with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies using Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Powershell, Golang).
• Expert in cloud-based compute, storage, and containerization solutions (Azure & Kubernetes).
• Expert in Microsoft technologies (Azure IaaS, Windows Server Core/2019+).
• Expert in Linux server systems administration (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian).
• Expert in traditional and PaaS web application technologies (Azure Web Apps, IIS, application load balancing).
• Proficient with Agile, DevOps, Scrum, ITSM, and/or ITIL.
