Job Details
As a Compliance Specialist on the Stabilizations Team at Cirrus, you'll ensure properties and staff adhere to regulatory requirements. This includes LIHTC, HUD, HOME, HTF, and state/local jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor compliance across properties.
- Conduct file corrections, audits, and reviews using tools like Secure Systems, SAVE, and State/CA platforms.
- Report compliance deviations, develop corrective plans, and alert teams to financial risks.
- Maintain workflow tracking and keep stakeholders updated.
- Meet deadlines, maintain organized records, and communicate effectively with on-site teams and stakeholders.
- Work with cross-functional teams to address compliance issues and develop corrective plans.
- Provide tailored support to teams on compliance matters using resources like the 4350.3 and LIHTC guide 8823.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Experience/Education:
- 3+ years of affordable housing compliance, property management, or related experience.
- 3+ years’ auditing files.
- 3+ years’ experience with Yardi’s affordable housing platform, or similar, and Microsoft Office 365 products
- Associate degree preferred
Other:
- 75% travel to multiple states.
- Candidates in the Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones preferred.
