Salary Range: The expected pay range for this position is up to $161,100 yearly.
Overview:
We are on the lookout for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Computer and Information Systems Manager to champion the IRS Applications Development (AD) Organization's technological advancements.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the evaluation and strategic integration of emerging technologies.
- Lead the assessment and overhaul of existing IT infrastructures.
- Champion the development and execution of comprehensive IT strategies.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Guide the adoption and governance of IT best practices.
- Oversee the design and implementation of robust cybersecurity measures and data protection strategies.
- Actively monitor technology trends and advancements.
- Facilitate the continuous improvement of IT service delivery.
- Lead educational and training initiatives.
Requirements:
- 7 years of proven experience in IT management.
- Strong technical proficiency in modern technologies.
- Exceptional leadership qualities.
- Comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications.
Clearance Requirement:
US Citizenship is Required. Active Public Trust/MBI clearance or the ability to obtain one.
