What You'll Do:
- Partner with team members for client needs.
- Perform accounting functions (budget, forecast, month-end close, etc.).
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
- Demonstrate Executive Function (strategic thinking, translating complex issues, balancing priorities).
- Assist in C-Suite slide decks and client meetings.
- Partner with companies at various stages.
- Utilize MS Excel and software.
- Travel to client sites.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience with high-growth, start-up CPG companies.
- 20+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience.
- Experience in leadership accounting/financial role for a small/midsize/startup company.
- Public/private accounting/consulting experience preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivots, lookups, formulas, macros).
- Strong accounting & finance knowledge.
- Private equity/mergers & acquisitions experience preferred.
- MBA, CPA, CMA, or other certifications preferred.
- Ability to learn new software quickly.
