The Content Copywriter & Writer will craft persuasive, educational, and SEO-driven content that builds trust, drives conversions. You’ll work closely with attorneys, operations leaders, and marketing strategists to develop content that communicates authority, compassion, and credibility while advancing our digital visibility. Portfolio samples required.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Write and edit a diverse range of content formats, including:
- Website and landing page copy
- SEO-optimized blog posts and educational guides
- Newsletters, press releases, and case studies
- Social media and email marketing campaigns
- Internal communications, branded materials, and proposals
- Annual reports and long-form thought leadership pieces
- Research and translate complex legal and technical topics into engaging, accessible content.
- Collaborate with attorneys and internal teams to ensure all copy is legally accurate, compliant, and consistent with firm tone.
- Develop templates, frameworks, and style guides for scalable and repeatable content production.
- Apply SEO best practices to improve organic visibility.
- Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail.
- Stay up-to-date on Google algorithm changes, SEO trends, and content marketing best practices within the legal industry.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of professional copywriting experience, ideally in an agency, legal, or professional services environment
- Proven SEO writing and editing skills with a keen understanding of on-page optimization
- Portfolio showcasing web content, proposals, campaigns, and branded materials
- Ability to craft clear, persuasive narratives for both B2B and B2C audiences
- Strong command of brand storytelling and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences
- Excellent research and fact-checking skills with the ability to simplify complex legal topics
- Experience using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Surfer SEO
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field
Preferred:
- Experience writing for law firms, legal tech companies, or professional services
- Knowledge of personal injury, Social Security Disability, or Veterans’ benefits
- Familiarity with ethical and compliant legal marketing practices
