Job Details
Contributing faculty members educate Walden University Students using online technology and resources. Responsibilities include training, course teaching, and maintaining availability to students.
Responsibilities:
- Training new faculty members.
- Teaching courses using the eCollege platform.
- Interacting with students within the platform.
- Providing feedback and grades through Blackboard.
- Maintaining reasonable accessibility to students.
- Attending Residencies (optional for part-time faculty).
- Complying with all policies and standards.
Requirements:
- PhD in the field of study.
- 3+ years of teaching experience preferred.
- 2+ years online instruction experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, zip software, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Reliable Internet access.
- Commitment to student learning and development in a distance learning environment.
Compensation:
- Graduate Course Instruction: $1,560 - $4,080 per Quarter or Semester.
- Undergraduate Course Instruction: $700 - $2,200 per quarter.
