Part-Time Contributing Faculty - MSN

Contributing faculty members educate Walden University Students using online technology and resources.

Responsibilities include:

• Training: Receive training in teaching techniques, electronic learning platforms, and university policies.
• Course Teaching: Interact with students within the eCollege platform, provide feedback, and grade assignments through Blackboard.
• Availability: Be reasonably accessible to students and publish availability through course syllabi.
• Residencies: May be required to attend Residencies, teaching intensives and facilitating discussions.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Requirements:

• PhD in the field of study.
• 3+ years of teaching experience preferred.
• 2+ years online instruction experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, zip software, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Reliable Internet access.

Candidates should possess contributions to the field of study, commitment to student learning, and excellent communication skills.
