Full-Time Data Architect (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Responsibilities Include:

1. Assessing and advocating data management technologies/practices, closing gaps between current and future states.
2. Interpreting and delivering strategic plans to improve data integration, quality, and delivery.
3. Formulating and articulating architectural trade-offs to recommend optimal solutions, meeting technical needs.
4. Motivating and developing staff through teaching and technical/consulting soft skills.
5. Collaborating with stakeholders to maximize data value across the organization.
6. Driving innovative technology solutions through thought leadership on emerging trends.
7. Sharing project solutions to improve future project delivery.
8. Partnering with business development to demonstrate CapTech capabilities, envision solutions, and estimate work plans.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience implementing on-premises and cloud data management.
• Advanced proficiency in end-to-end data architecture solutions (ingestion, storage, relational modeling).
• Proficiency in industry standard languages (SQL, Python).
• Experience designing/implementing modern data architectures, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), real-time data distribution (Kafka, Kinesis), NoSQL databases, and modern data warehouse tools.
• Strategic thinking to relate architectural decisions to business needs and client culture.
• Ability to assess traditional and modern data architectural components based on business needs.
• Familiarity with data governance best practices (MDM, security, privacy).
