Full-Time Data Architect Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect Consultant to provide expert guidance in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and commerce-driven data architectures.

In this role, you will work with organizations to assess their data needs, define best practices, and lead product and transaction-driven data transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in data architecture, modeling, governance, and security.

Experience in commerce-related data solutions, including Product Information Management (PIM), Business Intelligence (BI), and analytics on product attributes, orders, transactions, and customer data is crucial.

Experience with row-level and column-level security, data masking, and access control strategies is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement scalable and secure data architectures using cloud and hybrid technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, on-premise).
2. Develop and optimize data models for commerce-related datasets.
3. Lead the architecture and governance of PIM systems.
4. Establish and enforce data security frameworks.
5. Build and manage data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.

Additional Responsibilities include:

• Implementing data governance, master data management (MDM), and cataloging.
• Providing real-time and batch data analytics.
• Optimizing customer order data storage and transaction processing.
• Implementing data masking, encryption, and anonymization techniques.
• Conducting technical assessments, proof of concepts (POCs), and architecture reviews.
• Providing client training and advisory support.

Qualifications:

1. Strong experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database management (SQL, NoSQL, Graph databases).
2. Hands-on expertise with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
3. Proficiency in ETL/ELT tools.
4. Deep understanding of data security.
5. Experience architecting solutions for PIM, MDM, ERP, CRM, and OMS.

Additional Qualifications include:

• Experience with big data and streaming technologies.
• Knowledge of BI and analytics tools.
• Experience with AI/ML data pipelines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on knowledge of RBAC, dynamic data masking, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience.
