Full-Time Data Center Infrastructure Specialist

ICB Specialist FCI Techbase

• Manage the ramp up and build up of HW
• Manage the extension of HW infrastructure components
• Coordination of E2E HW build process/New platforms
• Creation of cabling plans
• Planning of HW installations
• Planning of Infrastructure (LAN cabling, POWER, Rack Space..)
• Support of HW Installation in Data Center
• Asset Registration
• Support engineering and application lines in Proof of Concepts
• Creation of RfCs
• Support HW refresh
• Communication and steering with/of 3rd parties (vendors)
• Consulting build up issues, process issues and possible improvements

Skills required:

• Advanced English skills, verbal and in written
• Good understanding of IT-Infrastructure and IT-Operation
• Structured way of working/managing data assets
• Understanding of complex DC infrastructure build and configuration

Nice to have:

• Experience/Know How VM Ware products, e.g. vrOPS
• Experience/Know How Netapp storage products
• Experience/Know How CISCO network products
• Experience/Know How SNOW (Service Now)
• Experience SOM@SAP
• Experience/Know How Asset Manager
• Experience/Know How Nlyte tool
