Full-Time Data Center Operations Analyst

The Data Center Operations Analyst II is responsible for 24x7x365 global monitoring and support of technology platforms, products, and services. They utilize monitoring tools to ensure the highest level of availability for Experian infrastructure.

• Monitor and maintain server infrastructure across Windows, Linux, VMware, and AWS Cloud environments.
• Triage and remediate alerts and system notifications.
• Respond to incidents using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, and ServiceNow.
• Manage high severity incidents including technical bridge calls and incident documentation.
• Perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for server-related issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams on provisioning and change implementations.
• Partner with Problem Management and Change Management.
• Analyze system and service trends in support of Continual Process Improvement.
• Develop and document operations center processes and procedures.
• Mentor new team members.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in server operations or infrastructure support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Working knowledge of technology systems and tools in an Enterprise Datacenter environment.
• Proficiency in VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms.
• Experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure monitoring and support.
• Familiar with Network monitoring tools (ThousandEyes, Solarwinds, Dynatrace, Splunk,etc)
• Understanding of core infrastructure services: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
• Excellent Customer Service and communication skills.
• Experience in working in globalized IT services environment
