Full-Time Data Engineer (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Responsibilities:

• Developing data pipelines and data products using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Advising clients on cloud resource utilization for efficient data ingestion and processing.
• Applying engineering best practices to solve intricate data challenges.
• Collaborating with end users, developers, and business analysts to optimize data architecture.
• Articulating architectural differences and their advantages/disadvantages.

Experience Requirements:

• Delivering solutions on a major cloud platform.
• Strategic thinking related to architectural decisions/recommendations and client needs/culture.
• Design and implementation of data architecture solutions.
• Production database experience (SQL, database administration, scripting data pipelines).
• Assessing and utilizing traditional and modern architectural components.
• Demonstrable ability to deliver production data pipelines.

• Languages: SQL, Python, Java, R, C# / C++ / C
• Database: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Redshift, Aurora, Presto, BigQuery, Oracle
• DevOps: git, docker, subversion, Kubernetes, Jenkins
• Additional Technologies: Spark, Databricks, Kafka, Kinesis, Hadoop, Lambda, EMR
• Certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals, Google Associate Cloud Engineer
