Job Details
As a Data Governance Lead, you'll review functional requirements and assist with functional specifications supporting our client's data governance initiatives. You'll work directly with our customers to develop insights into business and data models and perform data analysis activities to identify relational data issues.
Role Responsibilities:

- Provide data governance expertise to a team implementing Purview.
- Provide best practice design and support for clients in establishing data domains and critical data elements (CDEs).
- Lead data owner and data steward training.
- 5-10 years of experience in a data governance or data management role.
- Strong experience working with SQL queries.
- Experience with Microsoft Purview.
- Demonstrated expertise in process mapping and creating business requirement documents.
- Experience with policy development.
- Demonstrated ability to identify business and technical impacts of user requirements and incorporate them into the project schedule.
- An undergraduate degree in technology or business.
- Experience working in the utilities and/or consulting industry.
- Experience with Informatica Data Catalog is highly preferred.
