Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Engineer to support a large-scale migration project. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and executing migration strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute ETL processes.
- Write and optimise complex SQL queries (preferably MySQL).
- Apply data quality framework.
- Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and quality assurance checks.
- Translate business requirements into data transformation rules.
- Provide feedback to QA data testers.
- Raise and manage risks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders.
- Provide clear documentation.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure migrations comply with data governance.
- Work with case management software.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in public sector large-scale data migration projects.
- Strong SQL development skills within MySQL environments.
- Solid understanding of data transformations and ETL workflows.
- Knowledge and application of data quality dimensions.
- Familiarity with case management systems.
- Strong problem-solving mindset.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, risk reporting, and supporting QA testers.
- UK NPPV3 Security Clearance.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a data team.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Oracle databases.
- Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, or data integration tools.
- Experience in working with agile project delivery methodologies.
- Ideally Azure and experience in Azure Data Factory for ETL.
