We are seeking a Data Strategy Analyst with expertise in Real-World Data (RWD) to support our data operations. This role involves managing data vendors, conducting feasibility assessments, ensuring privacy compliance, and enabling data-driven decision-making. The Data Strategy Analyst will collaborate across business units and with external data and technology partners in the acquisition, integration, and exploration of RWD assets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Vendor Management & Data Acquisition: Serve as the primary liaison for RWD vendors, including Datavant. Administer data contracts and evaluate new data sources.
- Data Engineering & Exploration: Perform data pulls, transformations, and exploratory analyses. Collaborate with teams to understand data needs. Build solution/product prototypes using Snowflake, SQL, Python, and AWS.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure data handling practices comply with HIPAA and internal privacy policies. Partner with legal and compliance teams to maintain data governance standards.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- 5-7 years of relevant industry experience.
- Deep understanding of Real-World Data (RWD).
- Experience working with Datavant or similar data linkage platforms.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and data privacy regulations.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, Python, AWS, and Tableau
