Full-Time Data Strategy Analyst

• Vendor Management & Data Acquisition: Serve as the primary technical liaison for RWD vendors. Administer data contracts, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of datasets. Evaluate new data sources. Maintain a centralized inventory of RWD assets.
• Data Engineering & Exploration: Perform data pulls, transformations, and exploratory analyses to support ad-hoc requests. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver against requirements. Build solution/product prototypes using Snowflake, SQL, Python, and AWS.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all data handling practices comply with HIPAA and internal privacy policies. Partner with legal and compliance teams to maintain data governance standards. Implement and monitor data de-identification, tokenization, and linkage processes. Support audits and risk assessments.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Computer Science; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 5-7 years of relevant industry experience (Data Analysis, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical Consulting, etc.)
• Deep understanding of Real-World Data (RWD) including claims, EMR, Labs, Registry, etc.
• Experience working with Datavant or similar data linkage platforms.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA and data privacy regulations.
• Experience with Snowflake, SQL, Python, AWS, and Tableau
