Job Description
Mission: Ensuring Ethereum's best user & developer experience.
Problem: Composable fragmentation in rollups.
Solution: ๐๐ท - A TEE-enabled rollup with real-time proofs (RTP), enabling instant settlement & unification with other rollups.
Key Responsibilities
- CI/CD for E2E Blockchain Components: Develop CI/CD pipelines for smart contract deployments & upgrades (L1, L2), ๐๐ท rollup node upgrades, partner rollupsโ sequencer follower node TEE integrations, TEE prover infrastructure, ๐๐ท AVS co-node upgrades, and third-party ZK prover integrations, including automatic end-to-end testing.
- Monitoring & Observability: Implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Incident Response & Disaster Recovery: Develop & maintain runbooks, on-call systems, automated failover strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
- Maintenance: Manage components across cloud & bare-metal deployments (primarily GCP).
- Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, & maintain robust infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for rollup nodes, RPC endpoints, and validator services using tools like Terraform & Ansible.
- Security & Key Management: Enforce best practices for key management, validator security, & RPC protection.
- Scalability & Performance Optimization: Optimize rollup infrastructure for latency, throughput, and fault tolerance.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with smart contract engineers, blockchain researchers, and network security teams.
Must-Haves
- CI/CD & GitOps: Experience with GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes.
- Monitoring & SRE: Proficiency with monitoring & observability tools.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation: Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Cloud & Bare-Metal Deployments: Strong experience with AWS, GCP, Azure.
- Execution Client Proficiency: Experience with production Ethereum execution clients (Reth, Geth, or Nethermind).
- Ethereum Ecosystem Experience: Hands-on experience with Ethereum L1 & EVM rollups/L2 technologies.
- Networking & RPC Optimization: Expertise in load balancing, rate limiting, and firewall security.
- Security & Key Management: Strong understanding of validator security & key management.
