Nexthink is seeking a passionate Site Reliability Engineer to build and run a high-performance cloud platform, focusing on US Public Sector (FedRAMP Moderate) support. This role will implement modern, cloud-native SRE processes and manage Nexthink's multi-tenant, microservices-based cloud platform, deployed globally.
Responsibilities Include:
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee design, deployment, and management of scalable, secure cloud infrastructure. Automate provisioning, configuration, and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Monitoring and Performance: Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. Lead performance tuning and optimization.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure FedRAMP compliance by implementing and maintaining security controls. Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing. Collaborate with the compliance team on audits.
- Incident Management: Lead incident management efforts, ensuring rapid resolution and root cause analysis. Develop strategies for minimizing downtime.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams. Communicate regularly with stakeholders on system performance, reliability, and compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related roles.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native services.
- Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Bash, Go).
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
- In-depth knowledge of FedRAMP requirements and best practices.
- Experience with security tools and practices (SIEM, IDS/IPS).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across EU and India time zones.
