This Digital Marketing Analyst position combines technical expertise with client-facing consulting.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements for analytics solutions by consulting with clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align digital and business goals, and develop KPIs.
- Assist with technical documentation (solution design, event tracking, etc.).
- Implement and optimize marketing/product analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude, Segment).
- Ensure accurate data tracking and validate HTTP requests.
- Create dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
- Interpret behavioral data to gain actionable insights for user engagement and business objectives.
- Define customer segments and propose tailored strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (web developers, marketers, etc.).
- Align analytics strategies with product and feature launches.
- Manage smaller analytics projects on time and within budget.
- Analyze data, generate recommendations, and present findings effectively.
- Prioritize scalability, maintainability, and reliability in implementations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Web Technologies: Strong understanding of web technologies and tools (e.g., Postman, browser developer tools).
- Programming: Basic JavaScript/TypeScript and RegEx for tagging and analytics configurations. Familiarity with SQL is a plus.
- Analytics Platforms: Hands-on experience with event-based analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Amplitude).
- Tag Management: Hands-on experience with tag management systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager).
- Data Reporting & Visualization: Creating dashboards and reports for actionable insights.
- Data Analysis: Skilled in exploratory data analysis.
- Collaboration: Fostering collaboration across teams.
- Communication: Delivering clear, concise communication.
