Guardant Health is seeking an experienced and strategic Director, Alliance Management to lead our Biopharma Alliance Management team. This individual will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team and, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and manage the Alliance Management BioPharma partnerships team. Foster a positive, accountable, and growth-oriented team culture. Develop and implement talent development plans.
- Strategic Problem Solving: Serve as a hands-on leader who proactively identifies partnership challenges and develops detailed action plans. Drive resolution of complex issues.
- Key Account Management: Develop and oversee strategic engagement plans for high-value biopharma partnerships. Align internal teams and customer stakeholders on shared objectives.
Typically requires a university degree and typically 15 years of related experience; 12 years and a Master’s degree; 8 years and a PhD; or 5 years and a PharmD/MD. 10+ years of experience in biopharma alliance management, client success, or related roles. 3+ years of experience leading teams, preferably in the life sciences or diagnostics industry. Deep understanding of oncology pharma and diagnostic landscape Proven success managing complex, high-value partnerships with biopharma clients. Exceptional problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Strong strategic thinking, project management, and interpersonal skills. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or MS in life sciences) preferred.
Hybrid Work Model: All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment.
