Job Summary
Monro Auto & Tire is seeking a Director of Marketing Intelligence and Analytics to drive insights for business decisions. This role blends analytical capability with business intuition to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
Essential Functions:
- Business Insight and Problem Solving: Model marketing performance, forecast demand, and evaluate program effectiveness. Develop predictive models to identify indicators of performance.
- Lead analyses to uncover drivers of business performance.
- Synthesize insights across departments to recommend marketing actions.
- Lead the design of marketing tests grounded in sound methodology.
- Partner with leaders to develop competitive insight analytics.
- Marketing Data Strategy & Enablement: Develop marketing attribution frameworks and reporting.
- Validate and enhance existing models.
- Represent Marketing in efforts to define data strategy.
Education and Experience:
8–10+ years in business analytics, data science, or business intelligence, with 3+ years in leadership. Background in automotive services or retail operations preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Act as the senior “translator” between data and the business.
- Drive analytical rigor in marketing decision making.
- Present to senior leadership.
- Working knowledge of media, digital marketing, web and CRM.
- Ability to think like an operator with knowledge of marketing disciplines and data fluency (Power BI, SQL/Python/R, statistical modeling, machine learning).
- Partner with third party agencies and vendors.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team.
