Full-Time Director Medical Affairs

Role summary: Lead and execute the global medical affairs strategy for cardiometabolic/lipidology therapeutic area, providing scientific leadership, KOL engagement and medical support to cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and execute global medical strategy and tactical plans.
• Manage engagement with global key opinion leaders and scientific societies.
• Provide medical/scientific input to clinical studies (including RWE and phase IV) and cross-functional projects.
• Collaborate on communication strategy and develop external/internal training and materials.
• Provide scientific input for publications and review promotional materials ensuring compliance and scientific integrity.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Medical degree or PhD.
• Relevant global medical affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry (7+ years) with proven global launch experience.
• Relevant experience in cardiometabolic/lipidology (5+ years).
• Demonstrated ability to build and execute strategic and tactical medical plans and to engage external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Desired: Specialty in cardiology, lipidology or endocrinology.
