About the RoleAs Director of Enterprise Content Services at Animalz, you'll lead the Enterprise content services team in developing and executing sophisticated content programs to support customers' broader marketing initiatives. You'll build and nurture customer relationships at the Director and VP level, managing a team of Senior Content Marketers and Associate Heads of Content to deliver high-quality, high-volume content that drives measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Customer Management: Directly manage select enterprise accounts, develop targeted content strategies, deliver premium service (strategic planning, weekly content, monthly reporting, quarterly business reviews), lead high-stakes meetings, navigate complex approval processes, establish clear expectations, manage project scope, and guide change management.
- Refining Operations: Implement robust review processes, drive key metrics (customer retention, talent retention, account margins, customer KPIs), design/execute exceptional onboarding, collaborate with leadership on strategic capacity planning.
- Managing the Team: Lead/develop a team of 3+ Senior Content Marketers, Associate Heads of Content, and Heads of Content, build/manage full-time staff & freelance network, maintain strong relationships with editors, foster talent retention.
- Growing the Program: Execute a vision for scaling enterprise content services to $250K+ monthly revenue, partner with Sales, translate strategies into quarterly roadmaps, connect content to customer business metrics, and help market the enterprise program.

- Quality at Scale: Scale content operations while maintaining quality, understand freelance management, leverage AI tools.
- Change Management: Navigate customer reorganizations, renegotiate scopes/SLAs, maintain service continuity.
- Business Acumen: Understand agency economics, manage margins & resource allocation, balance customer demands with profitability.
Experience Requirements
- 6-10 years of B2B marketing experience, with 3-5 years leading content teams in enterprise environments.
- Experience managing enterprise content programs with substantial budgets (≥$500K annually).
- Demonstrable impact on pipeline influence & revenue metrics.
- Understanding of enterprise B2B SaaS marketing, managing relationships at Director/VP level.
Working Arrangements
Fully remote, Americas; US time zones (EST/PST).
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 USD annually + possible incentive-based compensation.
