Director, Content Marketing plays a key role in driving content strategy and creating high-quality, engaging content across multiple channels.
Leads a team, collaborating with cross-functional teams for marketing objectives.
Understanding of the financial technology industry and proven success in content marketing.
- Executes a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with company goals and brand vision.
- Leads and mentors a content creation team, providing guidance and support.
- Oversees content creation across platforms (website, blog, social media, email, white papers, etc.).
- Collaborates with stakeholders (product managers, sales, subject matter experts) for content creation.
- Manages relationships with external agencies and vendors.
- Drives the editorial planning process (ideation, creation, distribution, performance tracking).
- Monitors industry trends, competitors, and customer needs for content adjustments.
- Utilizes SEO strategies to optimize content and maximize visibility.
- Owns the content marketing budget and allocates resources effectively.
- Collaborates with marketing leadership to contribute to overall strategy.
- Stays updated with content marketing advancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or relevant experience).
- 8+ years of proven success in content marketing (preferably financial technology).
- Strong leadership skills with high-performing team management experience.
- Successful content marketing strategy development & execution.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and social media best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, persuasive content creation abilities.
- Experience managing agency relationships & collaborating with external vendors.
- Proficient in content management systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms.
- Strategic thinking and translation of business objectives into content strategies.
- Analytical skills for measuring & analyzing content performance.
- Strong project management skills (prioritization, multitasking, meeting deadlines).
Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000 (base salary).
Additional Information: Compensation may vary depending on qualifications, skills, experience, location. Potential incentives: equity, commissions, variable performance bonuses.
