Full-Time Director of Enterprise Architecture

Director of Enterprise Architecture plays a key role in aligning technology with business strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Define and communicate enterprise architecture vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
2. Develop architecture frameworks and roadmaps across business, application, data, technology, and security domains.
3. Guide large-scale integration efforts and technology portfolio modernization for innovation and business value.
4. Establish and chair architecture governance boards to ensure efficient IT resource use and adherence to standards.
5. Monitor compliance with enterprise architecture standards and evaluate performance against strategic goals.
6. Foster collaboration between IT, business units, and stakeholders for integrated solutions.
7. Develop communication plans to articulate enterprise architecture value to both technical and non-technical audiences.
8. Provide hands-on support for research, development, and proof-of-concept demonstrations of new technologies.
9. Manage and mentor a team of architects, guiding solution development, technical evaluations, and project alignment with IT strategies.
10. Promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the architecture team.

Required:

• Experience: 10+ years in enterprise architecture leadership, proven track record in developing architecture strategies, leading IT transformations, and managing multidisciplinary teams. Experience with portfolio management, integration projects, and large-scale system implementations.
• Skills: Strong leadership capabilities to influence cross-functional teams, expertise in strategic planning, system design, modeling techniques, and governance frameworks. Excellent communication skills to effectively bridge technical concepts with business stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) are highly desirable.
