Full-Time Director, Sustainability Disclosure

We are seeking a Director for Sustainability Disclosures and Ratings to join our dynamic sustainability team.

This individual will be responsible for:

1. Managing and driving our ESG disclosure strategy.
2. Ensuring compliance with international sustainability standards.
3. Preparing disclosures and narratives for third-party ESG ratings agencies.
4. Leading content creation showcasing WD leadership.
5. Active internal stakeholder engagement.
6. Building content to improve employee engagement on sustainability topics.
7. Assurance processes associated with disclosures (internal and external).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. ESG Reporting and Disclosure:
• Prepare, analyze, and submit ESG performance and disclosures to platforms like CDP, S&P CSA, MSCI.
• Lead preparation and submission of annual sustainability reports, aligning with frameworks like GRI, TCFD, CSRD, ESRS, SASB.
• Collaborate to collect and validate data, ensuring accuracy.

2. ESG Data Management and Analysis:
• Review and analyze ESG data to ensure completeness and reliability.
• Identify areas for improvement and address gaps.
• Analyze ESG data for actionable insights.

3. Narrative Development:
• Craft compelling narratives for sustainability reports, aligned with best practices.
• Collaborate to articulate ESG initiatives, progress, and results.
• Provide strategic commentary on ESG performance.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:
• Act as point of contact for ESG ratings agencies.
• Support internal and external communications.

5. Compliance and Standards:
• Stay informed on sustainability standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., CSRD, TCFD).
• Drive internal preparedness for standards.
• Provide guidance on best practices.

6. Continuous Improvement:
• Lead efforts to improve disclosure quality and effectiveness.
• Review ESG ratings feedback and develop action plans.

7. Stakeholder Engagement:
• Develop stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Represent the company in standards/collaborations.
