Chamberlain College of Nursing is seeking Part Time Online Visiting Professors for our Doctorate of Nursing (DNP) online program.
We are looking for experienced nurse educators with expertise in their field to teach students.
100% online teaching, an incredibly flexible and convenient way to share your experience and knowledge. The specific course is:
- NR-718: Topics in Advanced Practice Leadership I: Students actualize their role within specialties of the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), translate best available evidence to improve quality and safety in healthcare systems and settings. Translation science is emphasized, managing populations across a wellness-to-illness continuum.
- NR-718: Topics in Advanced Practice Leadership II: Students examine the leadership and practice change role of the APRN. Learning focuses on leadership strategies, interprofessional team negotiations, and collaborative communication to transform healthcare systems and nursing practice.
Required Qualifications:
- MSN and DNP (or PHD or EdD) Nursing degree (doctorate must be conferred)
- Advanced Practice Registered Nursing (APRN) credential
- Compact nursing license (highly preferred)
- Online teaching experience
- Illinois RN License (priority given to candidates currently licensed)
- Required subject matter expertise
- Outstanding written communication skills and familiarity with APA
- Excellent motivational and instructional skills in a diverse environment
Compensation: $715/Earned Credit Hour to $1,950/Earned Credit Hour, depending on education and experience.
