Full-Time Electrical Engineer II/III - Renewable Energy

• Perform electrical designs from conception through completion.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop equipment layouts, one-line diagrams, communication systems, cable routing, grounding design, and equipment specs.
• Modify and review electrical drawings.
• Perform cable ampacity and trench design using software like CYMCAP, ETAP, or AmpCalc.
• Model electrical systems using ETAP or SKM for short circuit analysis, reactive power and load flow analysis, and arc flash hazard analysis.
• Model grounding system design using CDEGs and WinIGS.
• Support Project Managers on power generation and renewable energy projects.
• Design electrical components for projects based on requirements.
• Apply knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, codes, and standards.
• Provide input on design issues based on calculations and solutions.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Participate in creating engineering services proposals and budget development.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years of professional electrical experience.
• 5+ years of relay coordination and schematic design experience.
• 5+ years of detailed design engineering experience in generating facilities or substations preferred.
• EIT Certification / PE registration preferred.
• Experience leading engineers is a plus.
• ETAP or SKM software experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and accountable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
