Full-Time Electrical Engineer II/III - Renewable Energy

• Perform electrical designs from conception through completion, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Modify and review electrical drawings.
• Perform cable ampacity and trench design using software like CYMCAP, ETAP, or AmpCalc.
• Model electrical systems using ETAP or SKM for short circuit analysis, reactive power and load flow analysis, and arc flash hazard analysis.
• Model grounding system design using software including CDEGs and WinIGS.
• Support Project Managers on design of power generation and renewable energy projects.
• Design electrical components based on project needs.
• Apply knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, principles, practices, codes, and standards.
• Provide input to senior engineering staff on design issues.
• Participate in the creation of engineering services proposals and budget development.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Six (6) years or more of professional electrical experience preferred.
• Five (5) years or more years of relay coordination and schematic design experience
• Five (5) years or more of detailed design engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is preferred
• Engineer in Training Certification / Professional Engineer registration strongly preferred.
• ETAP or SKM software experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
