Full-Time Electrical Engineer II/III - Renewable Energy

• Perform electrical designs from conception through completion, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Modify and review electrical drawings.
• Perform cable ampacity and trench design using software like CYMCAP, ETAP, or AmpCalc.
• Model electrical systems using ETAP or SKM for short circuit analysis, load flow analysis, and arc flash hazard analysis.
• Model grounding system design using software like CDEGs and WinIGS.
• Support Project Managers on power generation and renewable energy projects.
• Design electrical components based on project needs.
• Apply knowledge of electrical engineering concepts and codes.
• Provide input on design issues based on calculations and solutions.
• Participate in creating engineering services proposals and budget development.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years of professional electrical experience preferred.
• 5+ years of relay coordination and schematic design experience.
• 5+ years of detailed design engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is preferred.
• EIT/PE registration strongly preferred.
• Experience leading a group of engineers is a plus.
• ETAP or SKM software experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
