An international design and manufacturing company needs an Electrical Engineer for power transmission equipment. This is a fully remote position, and you can live anywhere in the US. You must have permanent authorization to work in the US. The company provides excellent benefits, including 10-20% bonus, health benefits, and a 6% 401K match. This role will allow you to work in collaborative teams, engage in research and development concerning electrical insulation. Required knowledge of market practices in power transmission and distribution projects. Also, evaluating projects based on best practices, government compliance, and market standards, and working closely with marketing, management, and operations, dealing with suppliers, customers, finance and sales.
Requirements include:
- In-depth knowledge of electrical power transmission line projects up to 500 kV (planning, design, procurement, and execution).
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred), Bachelor's degree required.
- At least three years' experience with power line CAD systems (PLS-CADD) and PLS POLE transmission line engineering.
- Proficiency in engineering transmission lines with line posts, braced line posts, and insulated cross-arms.
- Experience developing innovative solutions for compact transmission lines.
- US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
- Minimum BSEE degree.
