Join a fast-paced, patient-centered telehealth team redefining healthcare delivery. We seek an Enrolled Nurse for a fixed-term contract (late August 2025 - early February 2026) to cover parental leave.
Role Overview: This role offers a unique opportunity to play a key part in delivering compassionate, high-quality support across clinical administration, patient care, and team collaboration. You’ll work closely with doctors, nurses, and patient support teams to ensure efficient and thoughtful care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clinic teams and doctors to support seamless patient care.
- Manage treatment letter requests (e.g., travel, workplace, court, discharge).
- Assist with escalations (prescription issues, complaints, pharmacy, doctor issues).
- Patient follow-ups, risk assessments, and rebookings.
- Patient support, including booking assistance, documentation, and system uploads.
- Support Doctors: triage Slack channels, monitor inboxes, and upload documents.
- Provide non-judgmental, patient-centered care under RN supervision.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Collaborate with team for a consistent high-quality patient experience.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration (no practicing restrictions).
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
- Telehealth/virtual care experience desirable.
- Background in mental health or medicinal cannabis (preferred, not essential).
- Strong IT skills (learning new systems quickly).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Great time management and prioritization skills.
- Attention to detail with clinical & legal documentation.
- Empathetic communication and patient-centered support.
- Ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts to patients.
IT Proficiency Test Required: Shortlisted applicants will complete an IT proficiency test before interview stage.
