About this position
The Jr. Statistician executes and analyzes statistical operations processes (sample maintenance, updating store characteristics, determining expansion factors, and final database review).
Responsibilities
- Participation in daily preparation meetings, sample meetings (Panel Management, DA), and inter-monthly sample inspection.
- Execution and maintenance of samples, rotation oversampling
- Calculation of projection factors
- Configuration of data quality controls and annual parameter review
- Universe update
- Trend validation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Arts, preferably in statistics, mathematics, economics, or engineering with an emphasis in statistics.
- Intermediate English.
- Work experience in quantitative analysis (0-1 year).
- Statistical knowledge in sampling design techniques (basic).
- Statistical knowledge in quality control techniques.
- Practical knowledge of SQL and database structures (basic).
- Experience with statistical software such as R/Python.
- Experience with Microsoft software such as Excel (intermediate level), Word and PowerPoint.
