Full-Time European Regional Controller

EMEA Regional Controller HUNGARYWe are seeking an experienced EMEA Regional Controller to join our team and take full financial ownership of the CSM P&L. The ideal candidate will have the ability to drive financial performance across the region.

Key Responsibilities of the European Regional Controller:

• Assume full financial ownership of the P&L, overseeing all financial aspects of the EMEA operations.
• Partner closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to drive the achievement of financial objectives through effective budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive sales reports to challenge commercial decisions, such as pricing strategies, and identify margin growth opportunities.
• Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including detailed variance analysis and insightful commentary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial performance, optimize costs, and drive operational efficiencies across the EMEA region.
• Build and develop an international finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to support business decisions and long-term planning.
• Challenge the status quo, proactively seek opportunities to develop finance processes and procedures
• Recommend and lead improvements in processes across the region in coordination with GPO
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and reporting standards.

The successful European Regional Controller candidate will be a results-driven professional with a proven track record of financial leadership in a complex, international environment. They will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to influence senior stakeholders, and a passion for driving financial excellence across the organisation.

Reporting to: CFO - with dotted line to Global Controller

European Regional Controller Qualifications / skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• CPA, / ACCA) preferred
• Progressive experience in finance roles
• Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting for large-scale operations
• Strong understanding of EMEA markets and financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding leadership and team management abilities
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
• Fluent in English and Hungarian
