Leads projects focused on evidence synthesis (structured/targeted literature reviews, systematic literature reviews, indirect treatment comparisons, health technology assessments).
May also manage projects in health economics and/or value communication. Works with team members and clients.
Essential duties include project execution, exceeding client expectations, remaining on-time and on-budget, managing project scope, timelines and budgets, reviewing materials for accuracy and EVERSANA standards, proactively managing changes, identifying potential crises and creating contingency plans.
Methodological leadership is essential, ensuring projects use rigorous processes and defendable methods.
Client relations are a key aspect, building relationships for continued business, developing strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for future collaborations.
Company-related duties include communicating policies and standard operating procedures, facilitating training for junior staff, developing proposals, budgets, and timelines, fostering a positive work environment. Includes identifying best practices and project management tools.
Expectations include some travel, Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week with potential overtime, weekend, or evening hours.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's or higher degree in a medical/life science field (biology, biochemistry, etc.) or related experience in health research, health economics, or related fields. Four years of direct experience in evidence synthesis, health economics, health technology assessment, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), EndNote, relevant software (DistillerSR or similar), conducting literature reviews (structured/targeted and systematic), knowledge of industry standards (PRISMA, Cochrane), health technology assessment agency standards, understanding of structured literature review steps, strong attention to detail, critical thinking, communication skills, ability to work independently and in teams, ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Physical demands include frequent reaching, grasping, standing/sitting, walking, talking, hearing. Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds). The work environment is usually quiet with frequent interruptions.
Compensation is expected to be in the range of $85,000 - $115,000 (Canada only). Specific compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and location.
